Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Accurately manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment daily
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (current or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse/forklift experience in high-volume environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy with experience in inventory software
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Forklift experience with multiple equipment types (reach, order picker, pallet jack)
