Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Manage inventory rotation and stacking according to FIFO protocols
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate digital inventory records via WMS systems
- Ensure strict OSHA compliance in all material handling activities
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless workflow
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license
- Minimum 3 years industrial forklift experience
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail in inventory tracking
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
