Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and powered industrial trucks in warehouse and yard environments
- Accurately track inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Perform daily equipment safety inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to optimize loading/unloading workflows
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas following OSHA compliance standards
- Train junior operators on safe equipment operation and company protocols
- Collaborate with supervisors to improve operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of industrial forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
