Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a climate-controlled warehouse
- Accurately receive, scan, and organize incoming inventory using RF scanners
- Maintain detailed records of material movements and warehouse stock levels
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Train new operators on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator certification (must be current)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
