Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and space utilization
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety standards
- Assist in warehouse audits and quality control initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse settings
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator Certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
