Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Load/unload shipments with precision using pallet jacks and electric pallets
- Conduct daily pre-operation equipment inspections and safety checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (must provide documentation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work in climate-controlled and outdoor warehouse environments
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent required
