Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Verify and maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse forklift experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
