Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environment
- Manage inventory through precise pallet stacking and retrieval systems
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Preferable: Hazmat certification and experience with refrigerated environments
