Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse setting
- Accurately track and manage inventory using WMS systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Coordinate loading/unloading of shipments with dock teams
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
- Train junior operators on proper equipment handling
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (current and verifiable)
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly with proper technique
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems
- Excellent spatial awareness and depth perception
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
