Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Safely handle hazardous materials and temperature-controlled inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate inventory control using WMS systems and RF scanners
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols at all times
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Optimize warehouse layouts to maximize storage efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional forklift operation experience
- OSHA certification and hazardous materials handling credentials
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Forklift certification (sit-down/stand-up/reach truck)
- Experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
