Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Coordinate efficient loading/unloading of shipping containers and trucks
- Perform inventory audits using RF scanning technology and WMS systems
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Train junior operators on advanced material handling techniques
- Optimize warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory movements and equipment logs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in industrial settings
- OSHA Forklift Certification and valid Florida driver's license
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in inventory management
- Experience with hazardous material handling protocols (HAZMAT training preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
