Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods in warehouse environment
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Ensure OSHA compliance in all material handling operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Implement lean warehouse practices to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology and inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
