Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless workflow
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety standards
- Optimize stacking/storage methods to maximize warehouse space
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Spanish bilingual skills preferred for Miami market
