Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Coordinate warehouse receiving, storage, and distribution of high-value inventory
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Train new operators on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Optimize inventory stacking and space utilization in 100,000+ sq ft facility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on loading dock scheduling
- Maintain accurate inventory records via WMS systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience operating sit-down forklifts (Class I-IV)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Proficiency with warehouse management software (SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
