Responsibilities
- Operate electric and propane forklifts with precision in fast-paced warehouse environment
- Accurately manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas to maximize operational efficiency
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Train new team members on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in warehouse setting
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and accident prevention
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons
