Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts efficiently in warehouse and yard environments
- Safely load/untract trailers using electric pallet jacks and hydraulic equipment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior operators on safe equipment handling practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
