Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (electric, propane, and reach trucks) in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute precise inventory management through FIFO/FEFO protocols
- Maintain meticulous equipment logs and conduct pre/post-shift inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless material flow
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Train new operators on equipment handling and safety procedures
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current Sacramento operator's license
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (electric, propane, reach trucks)
- Strong inventory management and data entry skills
- Exceptional spatial awareness and depth perception
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures
