Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse settings
- Execute inventory management tasks including cycle counts and stock rotation
- Load/unload freight trucks using proper weight distribution techniques
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and preventative maintenance
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Train junior operators on safe forklift operation procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- 2+ years of certified forklift operation experience (sit-down/stand-up)
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (must provide documentation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management systems
- Basic computer literacy for warehouse management software
- Excellent safety record with zero preventable incidents
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
