Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Accurately inventory and organize warehouse materials using WMS systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, organized workspace with 5S methodology
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Clear background check and pre-employment drug screen required
