Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems and WMS software
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Coordinate with team for efficient loading/unloading of trucks
- Maintain equipment through daily inspections and preventive maintenance
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- OSHA forklift certification required (valid and current)
- Minimum 3 years experience in warehouse logistics
- Proficient with inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong understanding of DC metro area traffic patterns
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingual preferred
