Responsibilities
- Operate electric/pneumatic forklifts to move, load, and unload materials with precision
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Perform daily equipment safety checks and preventative maintenance
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and operational best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety regulations
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory systems
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
