Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse settings
- Load/unload shipments with meticulous attention to product integrity
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Optimize inventory storage using warehouse management systems
- Maintain OSHA compliance and safety protocols at all times
- Train junior operators on equipment handling best practices
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless operations
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OIT/OSHA preferred)
- 2+ years of industrial equipment operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexibility for rotating shifts and occasional overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent required
