Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/dock settings
- Accurately inventory and organize palletized materials in climate-controlled facilities
- Coordinate with team leads for efficient loading/unloading of freight containers
- Maintain equipment logs and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
- Train junior operators on proper equipment handling procedures
- Assist in monthly warehouse audits and cycle counts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or willing to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work standing for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass pre-employment background/driving record checks
- Preferred: Experience with RF scanners and WMS software
- Preferred: Hazmat certification
