Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Safely load/untract trailers using dock equipment and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management system
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient material flow
- Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP/WMS preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
