Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Safely load/untract trailers and manage inventory with RF scanners
- Maintain OSHA compliance and conduct pre/post-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment handling
- Participate in monthly safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years of recent experience
- Proven ability to operate multiple forklift types (sit-down, reach truck, pallet jack)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety-first practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
