Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods with precision
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Manage inventory control systems and cycle counting procedures
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety protocols
- Coordinate cross-functional warehouse operations including receiving and shipping
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces in compliance with 5S standards
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and 3+ years of recent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
