Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Execute precise inventory management through FIFO system implementation
- Coordinate cross-functional material handling with receiving/shipping teams
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance reports
- Optimize warehouse layout to maximize storage efficiency
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Maintain OSHA compliance documentation and training records
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator license (current/renewable)
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse material handling
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Forklift certifications: sit-down/stand-up, reach truck, order picker
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience in temperature-controlled facilities preferred
