Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized goods in high-volume warehouse environment
- Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
- Coordinate with team to optimize loading/unloading processes for 53' trailers
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems (SAP/JDA experience preferred)
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and hazardous material handling procedures
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety compliance
- Operate reach trucks and order pickers for specialized inventory management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial forklift operation experience with sit-down/stand-up certifications
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification and current forklift operator license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy (99.5%+ required)
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean MVR
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
- Experience with hazardous material handling (HAZMAT training a plus)
