Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with 3,000-10,000 lb capacity in high-volume warehouse settings
- Execute inventory control procedures using RF scanning technology and WMS systems
- Coordinate cross-docking operations for rapid distribution chain fulfillment
- Maintain OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections and safety audits
- Train junior operators on advanced material handling techniques
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and safety
Qualifications
- OSHA Forklift Certification with 3+ years industrial experience
- Expertise in narrow-aisle and reach truck operations
- Proficient with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in temperature-controlled environments
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Experience with hazardous material handling protocols
