Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environment
- Accurately load/untract trailers using FIFO methods
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate inventory records via warehouse management system
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment usage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (must provide documentation)
- Minimum 2 years experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Pre-employment background check and drug screen required
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Spanish bilingual a plus for team collaboration
