Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Load/unload freight trucks with precision using warehouse management systems
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Manage inventory counts and assist with cycle counting processes
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- OSHA Forklift Operator certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with warehouse inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Preferable experience with narrow-aisle and reach trucks
