Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory in 80,000 sq ft facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of trucks
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation system with WMS software
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse per 5S standards
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation weekly
Qualifications
- 2+ years of certified forklift operation experience (valid OSHA certification)
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
