Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials with precision
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and report equipment malfunctions immediately
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Train junior operators on safe equipment handling procedures
- Support physical inventory counts and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse/distribution environments
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied temperature conditions
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- OSHA 10-hour safety certification preferred
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
