Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse settings
- Execute precise inventory control procedures including receiving, put-away, and order fulfillment
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain meticulous warehouse organization and OSHA compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train junior staff on safe material handling protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Operator certification required
- Demonstrated expertise with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Exceptional spatial awareness and depth perception abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work extended standing shifts
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications (e.g., aerial lift, pallet jack)
