Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, stack, and organize palletized materials in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs to prevent operational disruptions
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems and RF scanning technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loading/unloading processes and dock schedules
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols for material handling
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Support inventory cycle counts and monthly warehouse audits
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience with valid OSHA certification
- Proficiency in operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts with capacity up to 10,000 lbs
- Forklift Operator certification (OSHA 1910.178) and valid Florida driver's license required
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in temperature-controlled environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
