Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Load/unload trucks and containers using proper rigging techniques
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Manage inventory counts and data entry in WMS systems
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams for timely material handling
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards throughout all operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination
- Strong attention to detail in inventory management
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Valid driver's license with clean record
