Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in fast-paced warehouse environments
- Manage inventory using RF scanning systems and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics activities including receiving, stacking, and shipping
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Train junior staff on warehouse protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize space utilization and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proven ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Familiarity with RF scanning systems and inventory management software
- OSHA 10-Hour General Industry certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
