Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-traffic warehouse environments
- Load/unload freight using proper stacking and weight distribution techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory records via RF scanning systems
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and safety compliance checks
- Train junior operators on warehouse safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless material flow
- Adhere to OSHA and DOT safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current or within 30 days of hire)
- 2+ years of warehouse/forklift experience in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate in extreme temperatures
- Proficiency with inventory management software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness abilities
- Clean MVR and ability to pass background/drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
