Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute inventory management tasks using RF scanning technology
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading of shipments
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain OSHA compliance documentation and safety protocols
- Train junior operators on advanced material handling techniques
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and current license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong spatial awareness and depth perception
- Forklift certification for multiple equipment types (reach, order picker)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Pre-employment background check and drug screening required
