Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse/distribution settings
- Load/unload trucks with attention to safety protocols and inventory accuracy
- Maintain detailed inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Train new operators on safety procedures and equipment operation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator with 2+ years' experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and DOT regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with electric/pneumatic forklifts preferred
