Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse setting
- Accurately manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of 53-foot trailers
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and daily equipment inspections
- Implement lean principles to optimize warehouse workflows
- Train junior operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
- Support inventory audits and cycle count initiatives
Qualifications
- OSHA-certified forklift operator with 3+ years' experience
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Forklift certifications (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck)
- Experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required
