Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down/stand-up, reach trucks) for material movement and inventory management
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize warehouse layout to maximize storage efficiency and accessibility
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Enforce OSHA compliance and safety protocols across all operations
- Mentor junior operators on equipment handling and best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience with high-volume distribution centers
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
