Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout warehouse facility
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless material flow
- Train junior operators on equipment usage and safety standards
- Optimize stacking configurations to maximize storage capacity
Qualifications
- 2+ years of certified forklift operation experience (valid certification required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Valid California driver's license
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
