Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Implement safety protocols to maintain accident-free operations
- Train new operators on equipment handling procedures
- Optimize storage layouts to maximize space utilization
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification with 2+ years experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Proficiency in inventory management software (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish
- Clean driving record and background check
- Forklift certifications (Sit-Down/Stand-Up/Reach)
- Experience with hazardous materials handling a plus
