Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse and yard environments
- Accurately manage inventory using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure OSHA compliance
- Coordinate with team leads to optimize loading/unloading schedules
- Train new operators on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Maintain detailed logs for inventory, equipment, and safety incidents
Qualifications
- 2+ years of certified forklift operation experience (sit-down/stand-up)
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification and valid Texas driver's license
- Proficiency with RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying climate conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation
