Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse settings
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for efficient inventory movement and storage
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for real-time inventory tracking
- Train new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current operator license
- Proven ability to maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety standards and regulations
- Experience with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
