Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials throughout 50,000 sq ft facility
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure OSHA compliance
- Load/unload trucks with precision using pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
- Manage inventory counts and update warehouse management system in real-time
- Maintain organized staging areas for incoming/outgoing shipments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Train new operators on safety protocols and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (current or obtainable within 30 days)
- Demonstrated ability to operate multiple equipment types (reach trucks, order pickers)
- Strong attention to detail with inventory management experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
