Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials within warehouse and dock areas
- Perform daily pre-operation equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Manage inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse documentation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams for seamless material flow
- Train junior operators on equipment operation and safety best practices
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of certified forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and current operator's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Forklift experience in temperature-controlled environments preferred
