Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision to move raw materials and finished products
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on equipment before/after shifts
- Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Train new operators on safe equipment handling procedures
- Participate in monthly safety audits and improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse/forklift operations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
