Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in 24/7 warehouse environment
- Manage inventory using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Ensure OSHA compliance through daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate cross-functional team for efficient material handling
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and reporting
- Train junior operators on safety protocols
- Optimize loading/unloading procedures for 53ft trailers
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (current)
- 3+ years warehouse experience in high-volume operations
- Proficiency with RF scanners and inventory software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and stand 8+ hours
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and delivery routes
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Valid NY driver's license with clean record
- Spanish language skills a plus
